New Forza Motorsport Cars Found in Multiplayer Lobby Options

Forza Motorsport launched with over 500 cars, but more will be added in free updates and the paid Car Pass over the next few months.

We already know four cars are coming this month in the Car Pass: the #22 Experion Racing Golf GTI, 2019 Dodge #9 American V8 Road Racing TA Challenger, and 1999 Nissan #23 NISMO Clarion R391.

Now, four new model families have been found hiding in the private multiplayer lobby options, providing possible clues about unannounced Forza Motorsport cars.

Four new model families spotted in private lobby options

When setting up a private multiplayer lobby, GTPlanet's Kelpy D spotted four model families in the options: SEAT Cupra, Aston Martin Valkyrie, Dallara DW12, and Alfa Romeo Giulia.

These options restrict multiplayer events to a specific family of cars, but none of the current models in the game belong to these families. The model families seem to be placeholders for planned models in future updates.

We're most excited about the Aston Martin Valkyrie category. Co-developed by Red Bull Advanced Technologies, Aston Martin’s astonishing hybrid supercar was added to Gran Turismo 7 in June but has yet to appear in a Forza game.

Whether we’ll get the standard Valkyrie, the hardcore track-only AMR Pro, the Spider, or all three remains to be seen. With a 6.5-litre Cosworth V12 and electric motor delivering a combined 1139hp, the Valkyrie will be one of the fastest cars in Forza Motorsport.

Considering how many touring cars are in Forza Motorsport, the Cupra TCR will likely join the Seat Cupra category alongside other Cupra models seen in Forza Horizon 5 like the UrbanRebel Concept, Tavascan, and Formentor. Based on the CUPRA Leon, the TCR produces 350hp from a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine.

The Dallara DW12 Indycar racer was last seen in Forza Motorsport 7. Meanwhile, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, Giulia Sprint, and Giulia TZ2 were recently added to Forza Horizon 5 in the Italian Automotive update alongside Lancia, Fiat, and Abarth cars.

The new model families suggest these models will return to Forza Motorsport, but it’s unclear when. Turn 10 has confirmed the Yas Marina circuit, which hosts the final F1 calendar race, is coming in a free update planned for November, so we could see some new cars join the roster alongside it.

Lucid could be coming to Forza Horizon 5

In addition to these new Forza Motorsport model families, an unannounced American manufacturer was also recently discovered in Forza Horizon 5.

While digging through the files, GTPlanet’s TGR55 found a Lucid Motors manufacturer logo. Since Lucid is a US manufacturer, this suggests the luxury Lucid Air electric saloon will make its Forza debut in November’s American Automotive Series update.
