Super Woden: Rally Edge has quickly become one of the most talked-about indie racers in development. This spin-off from the popular Super Woden GP series is destined to be a tribute to classic rally games with its top-down arcade rally gameplay and retro-inspired graphics.

However, the game's release has been formally postponed, so the franchise will have to wait a little longer. Don't worry, though, as that additional time will result in a more refined and thorough experience.

So, let's dive into everything you need to know about Super Woden: Rally Edge.

Super Woden: Rally Edge, which was originally planned for 2025, is now set to launch in Q1 2026 on PC.

Sole developer and creator of the Super Woden franchise, ViJuDa, said the delay was necessary to give the Super Woden: Rally Edge "the time and attention it deserves." ViJuDa wanted to ensure the game was released with the quality he had in mind for it, so they decided to remove the deadlines, which were generating constant pressure, for that to be possible.

The exact release date of Super Woden: Rally Edge hasn't been revealed yet, but we expect more news about it soon. ViJuDa also said if the game is ready ahead of schedule, then the release date will be anticipated.

What Platforms Will Super Woden: Rally Edge Be On?

As of now, Super Woden: Rally Edge will launch first on PC via Steam.

Both Super Woden GP and Super Woden GP II eventually received console ports, so Rally Edge will likely follow the same path to PlayStation, Xbox, and possibly Nintendo Switch after its PC debut.

Super Woden: Rally Edge is a retro-style rally spin-off game from the Super Woden franchise, created by ViJuDa, who is also the solo developer of all the games in the franchise. This entry brings even more adrenaline and speed, while still maintaining the essence of a classic arcade game.

The game pillars are speed, accessibility, and, of course, fun. Realism is not the priority in Super Woden: Rally Edge, with delivering an enjoyable experience to fans being the most important.

It has a unique and carefully created graphical style, an original soundtrack capable of capturing the essence of rally racing, a vast customization feature, a photo mode where players can capture the beautiful scenarios, and local multiplayer that allows fans to experience the traditional split-screen competition with friends.

But that's not all, as the Super Woden: Rally Edge car roster is also quite impressive, featuring plenty of rally cars, from iconic vehicles to the lesser-known.

Key Features

  • Retro Aesthetic: Top-down graphics reminiscent of classic rally titles.
  • Arcade Rally Gameplay: Time attack-focused, built for fun and accessibility.
