Gaming Factory has officially confirmed the next major content expansion for JDM: Japanese Drift Master, the Made in USA DLC.
The update is scheduled to arrive in November 2025 for $5.99, bringing an entirely new flavor to the open-world racers by introducing a lineup of American-inspired muscle and sports cars.
From Japan to America: A Cultural Shift

Since its launch, Japanese Drift Master has remained true to its name, celebrating the Japanese car culture through a mix of licensed and unlicensed vehicles. However, players have requested the addition of Western classics for a long time. For the first time, American-style cars will be added to the lineup with Gaming Factory's Made in USA delivery.
The DLC will add six new vehicles, each based on iconic US models. Fans have already identified several cars from the teaser artwork, even though they are unlicensed.
- A 1960s Ford Mustang
- A modern Dodge Challenger SRT
- A second-generation Dodge Viper
- A classic Ford GT40
- An AC Shelby Cobra
- A car reminiscent of a 1960s Plymouth or Chevrolet Impala SS
When combined, these symbolize decades of muscle car history, ranging from classics to contemporary beasts.
Expanding Beyond Update 1.7.0

The US DLC follows closely after the 1.7.0 update, which rolled out in late September. The long-awaited Nissan GT-R R35 was included in that update, along with two new tracks, six body kits, and expanded wheel and tire customization options. Players also got a new story campaign, focusing on the arrival of Naoto Date, further defining the game's narrative.
With the Made in USA DLC, the focus shifts from Japanese imports to a new automotive culture, allowing drifters and racers to compete against Detroit muscle and JDM icons.
What It Means for Players

The arrival of American cars is more than cosmetic. Their unique handling, weight, and power profiles are expected to bring fresh challenges to drifting and racing. Although high-revving Japanese tuners have historically been the focus of the game, muscle cars promise raw torque and a whole different driving experience.
At just $5.99, the DLC is priced reasonably, making it an easy pickup for anyone wanting to expand their garage.
