Last week, Sony announced a major PlayStation Plus revamp. From June, PlayStation Plus will have three tiers. Costing £99.99 a year or £13.49 a month, the most expensive Premium tier gives players access to over 700 games on PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, and PSP platforms.
PlayStation Now will also merge with PS Plus in June. However, Sony’s on-demand service is still available for now, allowing you to stream hundreds of PS4, PS3 and PS2 games.
Sony has revealed the PlayStation Now games for April, and one of them will please racing game fans.
WRC 10 skids onto PlayStation Now
WRC 10 is one of four games coming to PlayStation Now in April along with Outer Wilds, Journey to the Savage Planet, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood. Each game will be free to play at no extra cost on PlayStation Now from 5 April.
WRC 10 initially launched on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S last September before being ported to Nintendo Switch last month. Featuring every driver and team from the 2021 season, WRC 10 celebrates 50 years of the World Rally Championship with a special Anniversary mode.
Across 19 events, the Anniversary Mode lets you revisit historic rallies such as Acropolis and Rallye Sanremo in iconic rally cars such as the Alpine A110 and Audi Quattro A1.
WRC 11
PlayStation Now members can play WRC 10 on-demand from 5 April, but WRC 11 could be announced as early as this month.
This year marks a new era for the WRC with faster and more powerful hybrid Rally1 cars, and we can’t wait to drive them in WRC 11.
This will be the end of an era though as WRC 11 will be Klyotonn’s last WRC game. Codemasters will develop future WRC games, with the first expected to arrive in 2023.
