We're huge fan of Assetto Corsa here, so logging on and seeing a small update had us perplexed.

This update adds some exciting (and mysterious) new content to the game files.

Let's take a look at the contents of the update and what it means for players!

Ferrari skins

One of the major components of the tiny 46MB update was a series of skins for the Ferrari 488 Challenge car. However, they're not from the Hublot Esports series...

A NEW LOOK: Some new skins are available for the Ferrari 488 Challenge car!

Instead, these skins are from a recent event called the Ferrari Esports All Stars Racing Night. This included some heavy-hitter names like Valentino Rossi, David Tonizza and Brendon Leigh. Charles Leclerc was even in the commentary box!

So, part of the small update was to add these skins. However, the next part leaves far more questions than answers!

BMW M2 CS Racing

The BMW M2 CS Racing is a track-only version of what is already an undeniably fast car.

UPGRADE TIME: We may soon see the M2's big brother in the game!

Coming in at $100,000 it's not cheap either, but thankfully with Assetto Corsa, we can experience the car for far less.

The folder with the name “ks_bmw_m2cs_racing” remains empty for now. However, it is more than likely that a future update or DLC will add the vehicle to the game.

Release date & size

The update is already out, as we discovered yesterday when we opened the game. Thankfully, it is just 46MB, so it won't take any time to install.

GET READY TO RACE: There's never a dull day in Assetto Corsa!

However, what remains a mystery is when the follow-up update may drop. This, of course, refers to the on that will add the M2 CS Racing itself.

We'll keep our eyes peeled, and will make sure to let you guys know as soon as we know anything!
