While importing cars from The Crew 2 is easy, starting from scratch gives a better feeling of progression. This option gives you three starter cars to choose from. These are:

  • 2019 BMW Z4 M40i Motorfest Edition
  • 2009 Honda S2000 Motorfest Edition
  • 2024 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Motorfest Edition

Each starter car is free. But which one should you choose? Let’s compare the specs.

BMW Z4 M40i

Built on the same platform as the Toyota GR Supra, the BMW Z4 M40i utilises a 3.0-litre turbo inline-six engine producing 335hp. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Weighing in at 1,610kg, the Z4 M40i will do 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds.

Despite being the heaviest starting car in The Crew Motorfest, it has a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 3.8 seconds. That makes it the fastest starting car.

Best starting car in The Crew Motorfest

So which starting car in The Crew Motorfest? It comes down to personal preference, whether you enjoy driving agile sports cars or tyre-shredding American muscle cars. Overall though, we recommend the BMW Z4 M40i as the best starting car in The Crew Motorfest.

It may not be the fastest car, but it’s more agile than the Mustang and faster than the S2000. It’s the perfect balance of performance and handling, making it a joy to drive.

It's worth noting that Year 1 Pass owners will get extra starting cars. Included with the Gold and Ultimate Edition, Year 1 Pass will add 25 cars in the first year, starting with the Dodge Charger SRT, Hellcat Redeye Wideboy, BMW M4 Competition Coupe and Chevrolet Chevelle SS.

Additionally, the Ultimate Edition includes the Fitted Ultimate Pack, which adds the Honda Civic Type R Keola Rapozo Edition and Porsche 718 Spyder Keola Rapozo Edition.

You’ll still be asked to select one of the three starting cars, but extra cars from the Year 1 Pass and Ultimate Edition will appear in your collection.

Collection Import

Alternatively, you can import your car collection from The Crew 2 straight into Motorfest. The Crew 2 came out in 2018, so players have acquired hundreds of cars since then. This is a convenient way to continue your progress from The Crew 2.

If you choose to start from scratch, you can still import your collection from The Crew 2 from a later stage in the options. Importing cars from The Crew 2 is irreversible. Not every car can be imported, however.

Cars acquired in The Crew 2 before Season 9 can be imported at launch, but cars imported after 5 July can’t be imported until 6 December when The Crew Motorfest Season 2 begins.
