If you encounter performance issues with this setting, turn off ray tracing. Even on high-end systems, ray tracing uses a significant amount of memory, which can reduce FPS and cause input lag. Also adjust the motion blur strength to zero.

If you still experience performance issues, reduce the detail preset to Medium or Low.

  • Gamma adjustment: 100
  • Motion blur strength: 0
  • Steering animation: On
  • Detail preset: Custom
  • Ray tracing quality: High

Video settings

For the video settings, set the resolution to 2560 x 1440 (1440p) or 2560 × 1600 (1600p) depending on your monitor’s aspect ratio. If this causes performance issues, reduce the resolution to 1920 x 1080 (1080p).

F1 23 can run at much higher resolutions, but we recommend sticking to 1080p – 1600p for a smoother frame rate.
