EA's relentless teaser campaign for F1 23 revelations continues, as they have dropped a detail release calendar and teased some big deep dives into features coming tomorrow.

Codemasters & EA are going all out this year to make sure people are excited for F1 23, but after flashing everything they had last year it just led to quicker burnout within the community.

Will this have the same effect? Well, let's see what is to come from F1 23.

F1 23 roadmap

The official F1 Twitter channel, @EASportsF1, has shown off a new roadmap to release, letting fans know roughly when they will get a first look at what is to come from the game.

The deep dive into gameplay features is the first on the list, and will arrive tomorrow, Thursday 11 May. EA has said to make sure you are subscribed to their YouTube channel, so this is probably where the details will be released.

Like the trailer last week, we can expect the video to go out at around 4pm BST, 11am ET.

What to expect from the deep dive

The term "gameplay features" is a bit vague here, but there is plenty that Codemasters could show off. We know they have revised and updated their handling and physics, putting an emphasis on it being more realistic, along with tools to help pad players.

There is also the as-yet-unshown F1 World mode that is causing a bit of a stir. Some see it as being the first step toward a Formula 1 Ultimate Team, others as an evolution of the poorly received F1 Life.

This is the most exciting possibility, but the reality is that we don't know what Codies will be showing off here. It could just be how red flags will be implemented.

F1 23 release date

The official F1 23 release date is set for 16 June, the earliest in a season that Codemasters has ever put the game out. Players can get their hands on the game even earlier though, as the Champions Edition comes with three days early access. That means you can get racing on 13 June.

Of course, you will have to pay a bit more for the privilege, but the Champions Edition also comes with a whole host of extras:

  • Limited time Las Vegas Content (for pre-orders before 31 May)
  • Max Verstappen Race Wear Pack
  • Braking Point 2 Icons
  • Braking Point 2 Vanity Items
  • Dual Entitlement (for PlayStation & Xbox)
  • Four new My Team Icons
  • XP boost
  • F1 World Bumper Pack
  • 18,000 PitCoins
