Following the exciting news of F1 2021‘s arrival in July, many have been wondering who Casper Akkerman is, and what he will add to the game.
For all of us, Akkerman will be a new addition in F1 2021, and we've started to get an idea of how he'll fit into the game.
So, let’s take a closer look at the character now, and what his arrival means for F1 2021!
It is now less than 24 hours until we can finally get hands-on with F1 2021, for those lucky enough to have the Digital Deluxe version of the game.
The rest of us will have to wait until Friday when the remaining versions of the game become available for players.
The excitement is building, as is the anticipation, so here's all you need to know about the game!
Akkerman is a veteran driver in the Braking Point story and Aiden Jackson's teammate when he first steps into the Formula 1 paddock.
Akkerman seems to take the Kimi Raikkonen/Sebastian Vettel role of fading star, butting heads with the up-and-comer he's now pitted against.
Get your first taste of Akkerman's performance in Braking Point here. Warning for minor spoilers!
Whilst missing out on F1 2020 with the release of My Team, Devon Butler makes a return in F1 2021’s Braking Point.
Butler hasn't changed much since F1 2019, and brings with him the same smarmy smile and wise-cracking tone.
He'll be in the thick of the action during Braking Point.
