These are Portimao and Shanghai. Codemasters had both circuits in F1 2021, so it's not a surprise to see them included here.

Circuit alterations

After spending 2021 putting out three brand new tracks in post-release, Codemasters has some catching up to do with circuit alterations.

The biggest is in Abu Dhabi, where two sections were completely remodelled and several other corners marginally altered.

Spain's turn 10 was altered to take the MotoGP track rather than the tight left-hander it had been, while Albert Park's turn 9/10 chicane was totally removed and several other corners opened up.

Fans were frustrated these changes weren't included in F1 2021, but Australia, Spain, and Abu Dhabi will feature updated layouts in F1 22 reflecting real-life changes.

One that might not make the cut is the alterations to Spa's Eau Rouge/Raidillon complex. Work is still ongoing to widen the runoff and try to make the corners safer without completely altering the feel and history of that section.
