F1 2021 might well be the best Formula 1 game ever, but F1 22 is shaping up to be even better. Codemasters has revealed F1 22 is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC in July. The cars are also completely redesigned reflecting this year's new rule changes.

Latest news - Final F1 22 car models revealed

For the first time, Codemasters has shown off the final car models in F1 22. Redesigned for the 2022 F1 season, the new cars have improved aerodynamics and larger wheels and tyres, making them feel heavier to drive.

F1 Life and supercars hands-on preview

After Codemasters gave us a first look at F1 Life, we've gone hands-on with F1 22's unusual new lifestyle simulator. We also got a chance to take F1 22's new supercars for a virtual test drive to see how they handle.

F1 22 Features Trailer shows F1 Life for the first time

F1 Life is one of the most talked-about new features in F1 22, and we finally get a first look at F1's lifestyle simulator in the new features trailer. Additionally, the full-length trailer also offers a first look at formation laps, the new My Team mode and much more.

F1 22 hands-on preview reveals new details

F1 22 isn't out until July, but we've gone hands-on with Codemasters' latest F1 game to find out how it's shaping up. Early indications are positive, with a new handling model reflecting the 2022 rule changes, an expanded My Team mode, and the new F1 Life mode.

Crossplay is also confirmed for F1 22 in a post-release update.

F1 22 revealed

After months of rumours and speculation, Codemasters' has officially announced F1 22. This year's F1 title features a new Life Mode simulating the lifestyle of an F1 driver, along with sprint races, adaptive AI, and VR support.

F1 22 PC retailers and price

F1 22 will be available on PC via Steam, Origin, Epic Game Store, and EA Play. Available to preorder now, the standard version costs Ā£49.99 on Steam, while the Champions Edition + Limited Time Bonus costs Ā£69.99.

F1 22 also requires Origin and an EA Account to run on PC. It also supports Nvidia's DLSS and RTX technology, enabling smoother performance and ray-tracing on PCs with GeForce RTX GPUs.

VR support

For the first time in the series, F1 22 will be playable in VR on PC Increasing the immersion, F1 22 will support HTC Vive and Oculus Rift headsets.

F1 22 will release on 1 July for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Preordering the Champions Edition + Limited Time Bonus provides early access on 28 June.
