The game has only been out for a few months, but we are already getting an F1 22 free to play weekend!

For those that haven't had the opportunity to try F1 22 and all the new cars and content in this year's game it is perfect timing.
Free to play
F1 22's free to play window opens on Thursday 20 October and runs until Monday 24 October, ending at 23:59 PT.
On Xbox the trial will end on 23 October.
This covers the US Grand Prix weekend in Texas, and will be running as a free trial on PS4 & PS5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S, and on PC via Steam.
Ricciardo hot lap challenge
As part of the free trial and US Grand Prix weekend, Codemasters & EA has teamed up with McLaren's Daniel Ricciardo to deliver something really special.
The Honey Badger has put together a guide for players on how to conquer the awesome COTA circuit (You might want to try this USA Setup though!). On top of that, there is a hot lap challenge where someone can win a virtual meet & greet with Ricciardo as well as a race-off with him.
Players can post their fastest lap of COTA using #RicciardoChallenge and #F122gameSweepstakes this weekend (20-24 October) to be in with a chance. The winner will be selected at RANDOM so don't worry too much about raw speed!
Free US content
Along with all that, players will be able to redeem free Stars and Stripes gear until 7 November.
This includes a livery, race suit, gloves, and the Griddy podium celebration, which has taken over every other EA game this year, so why not F1 as well!!
