F1 22: Portimao is back!

Yes you read that right, we're getting a new track already as Portimao returns to F1 22.

The Portuguese Grand Prix only returned to the Formula 1 calendar as a replacement race in 2020 and 2021, but Codemasters spent so much time making the wonderful track for F1 2021 they have bought it back for F1 22!

The new track arrives TOMORROW, 2 August, for every player on every platform FOR FREE.

The track will be available in Time Trial, Grand Prix, and Multiplayer. Which unfortunately means we won't be able to swap it into the calendar in My Team or Career Mode.

However, those in leagues will undoubtedly be looking to get the rollercoaster track onto the schedule now that it is arriving!

Update 1.07?

The announcement of Portimao includes a teaser for China, which we know will land on the game on 12 September, but not any other details about another update.

The previous update 1.06 included a handling patch, but seems to have done more harm to the game than good going by the feedback from the community.

We expect another patch soon to correct issues, and potentially bring crossplay to the game too, but with no confirmation of that it is only our own speculation.

Codemasters has not said what time of day the track will be arriving, but we will be immediately jumping in to build a setup for you all to use!
