EA and Codemasters are starting 2024 in style, with F1 23 soon available for players on EA Play and Game Pass. With plenty of new features to enjoy, plus two new tracks to get stuck into, bringing F1 23 to Game Pass will open the door for a whole new wave of players.
F1 23 coming to Game Pass
We’re just over 40 days away from the start of the 2024 Formula 1 season, and to celebrate the new season, F1 23 is coming to both EA Play and Game Pass this week.
With the introduction of F1 World, along with the return of the adrenaline-packed Braking Point, F1 23 saw a real return to form for the F1 series. F1 23 also saw Qatar and Las Vegas make their debuts, both being warmly received by fans despite the initial hate for Las Vegas.
EA has announced that players can get their hands on F1 23 via EA Play or Game Pass from 18 January. EA Play members can also get 5k XP rewards, along with a 10% discount on EA digital content, including PitCoins. The XP rewards will only be available until 31 January, so you’ll need to act fast to take advantage!
When will F1 24 be released?
With F1 23 now available on EA Play and Game Pass, players can get stuck into the world of Formula 1. Despite that, however, the question still remains as to when F1 24 will be released. We have been sleuthing with our magnifying glass, and we may have just worked out the release window for the game.
With the previous four F1 games releasing between June and July, that provides a pretty big window to make a prediction. But if you look at the exact dates, you’ll see that they were all released on race weekends.
Not only that but two of the last four games were released on the same weekend as that year’s British Grand Prix. That points towards the same happening this year, so we predict that F1 24 will release on 5 July 2024. This is of course pure speculation, so we'll need to wait for confirmation from Codemasters and EA.
