F1 23 Update 1.10 Brings Back Daniel Ricciardo

As promised last week, F1 23 update 1.10 is rolling out across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC today. It’s a substantial update, with the long-awaited return of a fan-favourite driver, a new F1 Life game mode, and an updated street circuit layout.

There's a lot to unpack, so let’s take a look at the F1 23 update 1.10 patch notes to find out more.

The Honey Badger is back

Back in July, Codemasters confirmed to RacingGames that Daniel Ricciardo would be back in F1 23 after the Honey Badger secured a drive for AlphaTauri, replacing Nyck De Vries for the rest of this year's season.

At the time, we didn’t know when the Australian driver would return. That time is now.

With F1 23 Update 1.10, Daniel Ricciardo returns to F1 23’s driver roster. From today, players can drive for AlphaTauri as Ricciardo, who sports an updated character model in F1 23 with an AlphaTauri helmet and racing overalls.

The Honey Badger is also added to the driver market. After his abrupt exit from the 2023 season, Codemasters has removed Nyck De Vries from AlphaTauri and the driver market. It's worth noting that these changes will only occur in new Career saves.

Challenge Max Verstappen in first Pro Challenge

F1 23 update 1.10 also sees F1 World’s first Pro Challenge. This challenge sees you try to beat two-time champion Max Verstappen’s lap time around Zandvoort. With a 01:10:621 time to beat, this will be no easy feat.

Those who beat the time will unlock Max’s special Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix 2023 helmet.
