F1 Manager 2022 was a fantastic start to the series, setting a solid foundation for a sequel to build on this year. A sequel has been announced with a release set for the summer. But what F1 Manager 2023 editions can you buy? Let’s find out.
Update: You can pre-order F1 Manager 23 now on Fanatical and use code F1MRG at checkout to get 19% off.
F1 Manager 2023 Editions
There are two F1 Manager 2023 editions: the Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition. We're used to Codemasters' F1 games receiving Deluxe Editions, but this is the first time Frontier's racing management simulation has had the deluxe treatment.
Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition for F1 Manager 2023 comes with an exclusive Scenarios Pack for unique challenges and gameplay opportunities. But the main perk is early access.
Preordering the Deluxe Edition lets you start your Team Principal journey four days early on 27 July. While the standard version will retail for £44.99/$54.99/€54.99 on every platform, the Deluxe Edition will cost £54.99/$64.99/€64.99.
Unfortunately for collectors, physical copies of F1 Manager 2023 will arrive at a later date after the digital Standard and Deluxe Editions.
Platforms
Like last year’s game, F1 Manager 2023 will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Last-gen players who haven't upgraded to the current platforms won't be left out either, as F1 Manager 2023 is also racing onto PS4 and Xbox One.
Release date
After the announcement trailer only confirmed a summer release window, Frontier has revealed the F1 Manager 2023 release date.
Just before the Formula 1 summer break, F1 Manager 2023 launches on 31 July. As we mentioned before, pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition will give you access four days earlier on 27 July.
New features for F1 Manager 2023
It's time to start getting excited for this year's title. Frontier has given RacingGames.GG an F1 Manager 2023 preview and we are impressed with everything we have seen so far.
From a new member of staff to in-race improvements and the addition of sprint races to junior formula changes and deeper development strategies, it promises to be another good year for those that want to create a new legacy in Formula 1.
A new Race Replay mode will also let you rewrite F1 history with scenarios based on real-world F1 races and objectives to complete.
