F1 Manager 2023 is the perfect game to scratch the F1 management itch. Putting you in the shoes of a Formula 1 Team Principal, F1 Manager 2023 hasn’t exactly had the best start to the race, but that could all be about to change. Frontier has announced F1 Manager 2023 is hitting Game Pass for Xbox and PC subscribers.
October will see F1 Manager 2023 hit Game Pass. All PC and Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to get their hands on the game, opening the series up to a whole new player base.
Whether you’re a fan of management titles or an F1 enthusiast, F1 Manager 2023 provides a unique insight into the world of Formula 1. Managing a Formula 1 team sounds like an easy task, but when it comes to F1, it’s a whole level of tasking.
From designing the car to hiring and firing staff to selecting your drivers, to then managing the race, F1 Manager 2023 opens the door to every aspect of team management.
F1 Manager 2023 will be available on Game Pass for PC and Xbox players from 19 October. At the time of writing, it’s not yet known how long F1 Manager 2023 will be available on Game Pass.
Along with hitting Game Pass, F1 Manager 2023 will also be available via the Windows Store, also from 19 October. The Windows Store version will be priced at £44.99/$54.99/€54.99.
Hopefully, this will give F1 Manager 2023 the shot in the arm it needs, with disappointing sales figures leading to staff layoffs at Frontier.
F1 Manager 2023 Update 1.9 brings difficulty
Update 1.9 has landed for F1 Manager 2023, bringing with it all-new features and bug fixes for the game.
The biggest addition is a new difficulty setting. Now players can select the AI Car Development and Race Sim AI in each save, either making the game easier for newer players or creating more of a challenge for seasoned F1 veterans.
Update 1.9 also changes the way penalties are applied during a race. Penalties are now investigated, with the verdict displayed at the top of the screen. If you’re managing Serio Perez, you’ll be looking at the top of your screen a lot.
Update 1.9 includes multiple bug, glitch and error fixes. You can read about the full changes in Update 1.9 by clicking here.
