F1 24 was announced last week alongside the opening Bahrain Grand Prix. Codemasters’ F1 game isn’t the only official F1 series, however. Frontier’s F1 Manager series is also set to return this year, once again putting you in the shoes of the team principal making crucial decisions off the track.
After F1 24 was announced last week, players have been wondering when F1 Manager 2024 will be revealed. Luckily, we don’t have to wait long, as Frontier has confirmed the first F1 Manager 2024 details will be revealed next week.
F1 Manager 2024 reveal date confirmed
In a teaser on the official F1 Manager social media channels, Frontier confirmed that F1 Manager 2024 will be revealed next Tuesday on 12 March. That means we’ll find out what’s in store for F1 Manager 2024 in just four days.
Unsurprisingly, Frontier didn’t reveal any more details, so we’ll have to wait until next week’s reveal. However, the teaser could be hinting at a highly requested feature.
Custom teams teased?
One of the most requested new features in F1 Manager is custom teams. Codemasters’ F1 games have allowed you to race as a custom team since the fan-favourite My Team mode was introduced in F1 2020. F1 Manager, on the other hand, restricts you to the official F1 teams. This could finally change in F1 Manager 2024.
Taking a closer look at the teaser image, the car's livery doesn’t look like an existing team. This could simply be a generic F1 car, or it could be a hint that custom teams will be a new headline feature in F1 Manager 2024.
Custom teams would be a welcome addition to F1 Manager 2024 as this is one of the most commonly requested features by the community. If a custom teams feature is coming, we'll presumably be able to design custom liveries, team, and staff overalls for the new challenger on the grid.
We'll have to wait until next week's reveal to find out if custom teams are coming to F1 Manager 2024. Hopefully, this will be a full reveal unlike F1 24, which will be revealed in April following the teaser announcement.
