It’s a new year and a new Forza Horizon series is here. Following last month’s Horizon Holidays series, the Forza Horizon 5 FORDzathon Summer Festival Playlist provides a wealth of new reward cars and Ford-themed challenges for players to tackle.

Forza Horizon 5 FORDathon Summer
As you've probably guessed from the name, FORDzathon celebrates all things Ford with themed challenges along with classic and contemporary prize cars from the US automaker's history.
The Forza Horizon 5 FORDzathon Summer season starts on 5 January at 2:30pm GMT / 9:30am ET. As always, the season will last for seven days, ending on 12 January at 2:30pm GMT / 9:30am ET.
Series progress cars include the MG6 XPower (80 points), which is new to Forza and Ken Block's Hoonicorn V2 Mustang (160 points). The Hoonicorn V2 is a hauntingly fitting reward car following Ken Block's untimely death.
Reward cars
Oddly for a season themed around Ford, this week's season reward cars are the Renault Megane R.S. 250 (20 points) and Hot Wheels Ford F-5 Dually Custom Hot Rod (40 points).
The Renault Megane R.S. 250 is new to Forza Horizon 5 but appeared in Forza Horizon 4.
You can also earn five more reward cars by completing challenges this season. The 2018 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5 can be yours by completing The Trial.
Conquering the three seasonal championships also unlocks the 2015 Ford Falcon GT F 351, 1977 Ford #5 Escort RS1800 MK II, and 1973 Ford Capri RS3100.
If you have the Hot Wheels expansion, you can also get the 2000 Ford SVT Cobra R as a reward for winning the Seasonal Championship.
You can also earn a couple of Super Wheelspins and clothing items for your avatar.
