It's a new season in the world of Forza Horizon 5 and this summer is the start of series 1! Summer is the Wet Season in the Mexico of Forza.
Here's everything we need to do to win all the prizes in Mexico this week.
Playlist completion rewards
For the whole series, we have two incredible cars to earn. The Mercedes-AMG ONE and the McLaren F1 can be yours for 120 and 180 points respectively. Completing everything in this series is worth 246 points, so it's a tough target for the McLaren!
For the season, 26 points earns you the DeLorean DMC-12 and 46 points the Aston Martin DBS SL. This is out of 64 points available, so both are very achievable.
Forzathon challenges
This week's Forzathon challenges are based around the 2017 Nissan GT-R. Complete the four chapters in order to receive 5 playlist points and 80 Forzathon points. Daily challenges are worth 1 playlist point each and 10 Forzathon points. We haven't yet seen all of the daily challenges.
Speaking of the Forzathon shop, the Jaguar XJ220 is on offer this week. It costs 600 Forzathon points.
Season events
Taking part in any Horizon Arcade event earns an additional 3 playlist points. The Trial has the Mini X-Raid buggy as its prize. You'll need to be in the Hall of Fame to enter the Trial. The seasonal Playground Games has the Quick Draw emote as its reward, along with 3 more playlist points.
The PR Stunts are the Runway Danger Sign, the Cordillera Speed Zone and the Hillshide Drift Zone. Each of these earn you 2 playlist points and a wheelspin. Check the playlist for the car restrictions as you now need to hit each target in a particular range of cars.
The Horizon Tour Co-op Championships offer a further three playlist points.
Seasonal Championships
Each seasonal championship offers 5 playlist points and another reward. Letting Off Steam gives you the Steam Boat car horn. New Kid on the Block gives you the Hyundai Veloster N. It's Rainin' Sideways has the Hoonicorn V2 as its prize. You'll need to come first in each championship over three races against minimum Highly Skilled difficulty AI drivers to win the prize.
Challenges
There's a treasure hunt this week! The clue is not a confusing one, just to warm us up. Earn 2 stars from the Heights of Mulege Danger Sign in the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray 2020. Once you've completed that task, you'll need to find a treasure chest that will contain 50,000 credits. You'll also earn 3 playlist points.
The photo challenge is #newdigs. Photograph any vehicle outside of the Casa Bella house for a Link phrase and 2 playlist points.
If you can reach 140 mph in Horizon Open Racing, there are 25,000 credits and 2 playlist points for that. Finish in the top 30 of the Eliminator for 2 playlist points and another Forza Link phrase. Lastly, smash 100 cacti for 3 playlist points and the phrase "Gotta smash em all!" which wouldn't be a great phrase to use on the Trial.
Post a clean lap on the Monthly Rivals at the Horizon Mexico circuit for 4 further playlist points.
