Not only is it a new season, but a brand new Series starts today in Forza Horizon 5! Celebrating Mexico’s Cinco de Mayo holiday, Series 7 will bring a stash of new cars, rewards, and challenges for loyal FH5 players over the next four weeks.
Summer has started in Series 7, and there’s a lot to unpack. As well as new Series Progress and challenge reward cars, there’s a Photo Challenge and a Treasure Hunt to complete.

Forza Horizon 5 Series 7 Summer
Series 7 Summer starts at 3.30pm BST and runs from 28 April to 4 May.
Ferrari fans are in for a treat because Series 7 features five Prancing Horses to collect starting with the Ferrari 250 GT, arguably one of the most beautiful cars ever made. This beauty can be earned for 20 points this week.
If you prefer American muscle to classic Italian exotics, the second Series Progress car is the 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 for 40 points. Car movie aficionados will recognise the Mustang Mach 1 for appearing in Diamonds are Forever and Gone in 60 Seconds (the 1974 original – not the 2000 Nicholas Cage remake).
Reward cars
Completing the EventLab unlocks the Horizon Jungle Cruise EventLab unlocks the Lamborghini LM002 off-roader.
There are also two Seasonal Championship reward cars to earn this week. Completing the Chihuahua Express Seasonal Championship unlocks the 2008 BMW M3 for five points.
The No.14 Ford Fiesta can also be earned for five points in the La Fiesta Seasonal Championship.
Photo Challenge
This week’s Photo Challenge celebrates Mexico’s Cinco de Mayo holiday. For Series 7, FH5’s Mexico map is overhauled with colourful decorations themed around Cinco de Mayo.
In this week’s Photo Challenge, you need to photograph any car in Guanajuato decorated for Cinco de Mayo. If you’re struggling to find the location, check out our guide on how to find Guanajuato in Forza Horizon 5. Complete the Photo Challenge, and you'll earn a Raul Urias Cap clothing reward.
Treasure Hunt

Forzathon Weekly Challenge
This week’s Forzathon Weekly Challenge features the 1983 Volkswagen Golf GTI, the original hot hatchback.
To complete Chapter 1, you just need to own and drive the 1983 Volkswagen Golf GTI. Chapter 2 requires you to win any Street Race in the Golf GTI.
Next, test the hot hatchback's speed by earning five stars total from Speed Zones. Finally, earn an Ultimate Skill Chain in the Golf GTI to complete Chapter 4.
