The Forza Horizon 5 seasonal playlist is a little different to the previous game. We'd gotten used to the photo challenge being too easy! Are you looking for the mural by artist Star 27? Here's how to find it.
Forza Horizon playlist photo challenge
Photo challenges were introduced in Forza Horizon 4. They were always a quick way to earn a wheelspin. It was maybe too easy to find the locations and so not much of a challenge!
This has changed in Forza Horizon 5 though. With the level of detail on the map and several years to develop the game further from the prior iteration, they've gotten a whole lot more challenging. It's quite tricky this week to find the Star 27 mural for the photo challenge, especially since Mulegé is an unfamiliar town to most of us!
Murals in Forza Horizon 5
Forza Horizon 5 features murals from some of Mexico's greatest street artists. These works were commissioned and then applied to buildings in the game. The developers took a lot of care to include them in a sympathetic way so that they look natural in their location.
We know little about the Baja California native street artist Star 27, but we love this piece. His mural sits so well in the game. The colours and the design match the content and feel like an organic part of the Mexico of Forza Horizon 5.
How to find the Star 27 mural
It's very easy to drive past the Star 27 mural in Mulegé and not spot it! Mulegé is a small town in the game. There's few roads and a picturesque square. The location is also a good spot for drifting. Horizon Arcade drift events often start in this spot.
The Star 27 mural is in this location on the map. It's just on the corner to the northeast of the town centre. Drive or fast travel to here and look around and you'll quickly spot the bright colours. Snap a shot and you'll be done with the photo challenge for this week!
