It's not an exaggeration to say that the Forza Horizon series has been one of the best racing series ever. Horizon has gone from strength to strength, with Horizon 4 being arguably the best in the series. Not only that, but it's one of the best racing games of all time.
Horizon 4 was released on Xbox One in 2018, before being upscaled to the Series X last year. But will we get a Horizon 5? And if so, when will the next one land? We've got everything you need to know right here!
Horizon 5 confirmed
Ever since the Xbox Series X was confirmed in Summer 2020, both new Forza Motorsport and Horizon games have been heavily rumoured. While we don't know when Forza Motorsport will be released, Horizon 5 was confirmed earlier this year.
Horizon 5 will be released on Xbox One, Series X and Windows PC later this year. So, players who have invested in the next-gen Xbox will be able to enjoy Horizon very soon. Gamers who haven't upgraded their system next will also be able to enjoy Horizon.
While fans hoped and expected to be heading to Japan for Horizon 5, this game will be set in Mexico. That's not a bad thing though, as there is a huge variety of environments and places to explore.
Horizon 5 will launch on 5th November, so it's just a few weeks away now!
