However, will we get a chance to play the game early in the form of a beta? We're still not certain.
Let's take a look and see if we can work it out!
Gran Turismo 7 beta
The beta is a bit of a sore topic for GT7 fans, as one had initially been leaked through the Gran Turismo website. This never came to fruition, with the code being just a placeholder.
It did, however, get everyone's hopes up for a beta to be released soon. Whilst we do now have an official release date, no further beta announcements have happened.
So, will we see one? Or will we have to wait until the day itself for a chance at playing?
Will we get a beta?
We haven't had any more news from the team, and the game's release is now just one month away.
That being said, the Call of Duty Vanguard beta has just finished and the game's release is just a month away. This gives us hope that a beta could be sprung on us soon, or closer to the title's release.
Regardless, the leak earlier this year is the closest we've had so far, so we're not keeping our hopes high for a chance to play early. The GT Sport beta, for example, was a whopping 7 months before the release.
Gran Turismo 7 release date
We now have an official release date following the PlayStation showcase last year.
This gives a release date of March 4, 2022. It's far earlier than we had resigned ourselves to and has helped reinject some excitement surrounding the title's release.
