As another week draws to a close, a new batch of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges has arrived with plenty of cash prizes to win over the next week.

This week’s challenges have an American theme, celebrating US cars and circuits. You'll be racing everything from pickup trucks to a classic NASCAR racer, which stars in a new Special Event.

Here’s everything you can expect in week three of Gran Turismo 7’s May Weekly Challenges.

This week begins with a casual three-lap race around Blue Moon Bay Speedway. As the name of the event implies, you’ll need an American road car with a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout to enter.

A 550 PP limit is suggested but not mandatory, but with only 10,000 credits awarded for finishing first place, don’t go too mad on tuning upgrades.

Pickup Truck Race

Colorado Springs – Lake - 3 laps

For the third time since the Weekly Challenges were introduced last November, the Plymouth Superbird stars in its own One-Make special event. This time, you’ll be taking the American racecar for a spin around the Watkins Glen long course. Once again, there’s no PP limit to worry about, and there are 70,000 credits up for grabs for taking pole position.

There’s no PP limit, but there is an 8x fuel consumption and 11x tyre wear limit to be mindful of. Finishing at the top of the podium will reward you with 65,000 credits.

Japan’s Super Formula single-seater series stars in the final event. Before you can enter, you’ll need to reach Collector Level 31 and start the Super Formula Menu Book. You’ll also need to own either the SF19 or SF23 racecars fitted with Racing Tyres. With 15 laps, 6x fuel consumption, and 12x tyre wear, this is a demanding race with 160,000 credits on offer for taking the win.

For this week’s bonus prizes, you’ll win a 100,000 credit ticket for completing one event, a 200,000 credit ticket for three events, and a 500,000 credit ticket for clearing all five.

There are only cash prizes and no roulette tickets to win this week. Remember, you don’t need to win the events to claim these rewards – you only need to finish in third place or above.

As always, there is also a new set of GT7 Daily Races to tackle.
