Disney Speedstorm Release Date: Early access available in April

The release date of Disney Speedstorm has been confirmed to be in this year and early access will now be available from April.

Disney Speedstorm Release Date

Disney Speedstorm was originally slated for a 2022 release. However, due to a delay, Disney Speedstorm was then confirmed to be launched sometime in 2023.

Thanks to a recent update from the developers, we now know that early access is now available to pre-order. Early access, regardless of which "Founder's pack" you purchase is confirmed to be 18th April.

There are three Founder's Packs available to pre-order, the "Standard", "Deluxe" and "Ultimate". These cost £24.99, £39.99 and £57.99, respectively and give you more DLC the more you spend.

You can wait until the regular release of Disney Speedstorm to play it for free, but we don't have a date for this yet. Usually though, early access is only around a week or so before the regular launch of a video game.

You can also wishlist Disney Speedstorm if you're a PC player via the Steam and Epic Games Stores right now! For those on Xbox and PlayStation, you can also purchase the Founds Packs on the Microsoft and PS Stores, respectively.

Disney Speedstorm delayed until 2023

Originally, Disney Speedstorm was planned for a 2022 release. However, Gameloft confirmed a delay the game until 2023, with a still unspecified date.

"We have been working diligently to craft an amazing racing experience for Disney Speedstorm, capturing our vision of the exciting magic fans enjoy in their favourite Disney and Pixar characters and games,” a post on the official Disney Speedstorm Twitter page reads.

“We want fans to not only be entertained, but to enjoy a fast-paced and competitive racing experience they will return to play for years to come,"

"With this in mind and after careful consideration, we have decided to delay the worldwide release of Disney Speedstorm to meet our expectations and provide players with a more immersive racing experience, customisation offerings, game modes and more."

“Fans are invited to join us on the speedway when Disney Speedstorm launches in 2023 on PC and consoles.”
