Navigating your way through the world in Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is not as easy as you might think. Each map is littered with obstacles, from huge cliff sides to raging waters, that prevent you from driving direct routes between objectives.
Even travelling from one level of a mountain to another can lead to a huge diversion, as there are only a few ways to traverse the climb safely. Therefore you need a tool to be able to survey the route ahead.
Fortunately, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game provides you with a drone to assess the terrain ahead. This allows you to fly ahead of the convoy, ensuring you’re on the right path to success.

How to use the drone in Expeditions: A MudRunner Game
The drone is one of two devices available to you in every expedition by default. You don’t have to make any special dispensations to include it before hitting the trek.
Before using the drone, make sure your vehicle is stationary with the parking brake on. The last thing you want is a bird’s eye view of your prize truck rolling away down the mountain!
To use the drone, select it in the ‘devices’ menu. This will then take you to the drone control screen.
Once in the air, use the throttle button to ascend and the brake button to descend. Using the assigned buttons, you can fly around the map, exploring ways to ford rivers and climb mountains. Be sure to stay in range of the vehicle, though,, or you’ll lose signal.
Now, you’re ready to head out into the field and plot the best route through the wilderness.
