In Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, there are many different types of terrain you’ll be forced to drive across. Each requires its own vehicle setup, from differential to wheel configuration and even tyre pressure.
Tyre pressure affects how the rubber makes contact with the surface beneath the wheels. A higher tyre pressure reduces the contact surface, restricting drag and, therefore, fuel consumption. This does have the drawback of reducing grip as well, so sometimes you may need to reduce the pressure to increase the contact surface.

How to adjust tyre pressure in Expeditions: A MudRunner Game
Usually, tyre pressure in driving games is determined before you head out of the garage. In Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, however, you can actually adjust the pressure of the rubber on the fly. It’s not easy to keep an eye on the pressure while also monitoring the road ahead, however.
Tyre pressure is hidden away somewhat in Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, but once you find it you’ll be glad you did.
To adjust the tyre pressure, press down on the d-pad to open the tyre menu, then hit left on the d-pad to lower the pressure. There are three levels of tyre pressure, with the default being all the way to the right.
You’ll need to lower your tyre pressure when traversing thick mud or deep water. Normally, lowering the pressure by one setting will be enough to get you moving again, but you may need to reduce it all the way to be able to keep things moving.
It’s important to note, however, that running with low pressure will increase fuel usage considerably, so only lower the pressure when you absolutely have to. To increase tyre pressure back to normal, open the tyre menu and hit right on the d-pad.
