Is MotoGP 24 Crossplay?

Crossplay is a very popular feature in video games these days, especially in racing games. It allows gamers to play in the same multiplayer lobbies as their friends, despite playing on different console systems.

For example, you could be playing on PS5, while your friends are on Xbox, but if the game you're playing has crossplay, you can race against each other. If it doesn't, you can only play online with those on the same system as you.

Thankfully, Milestone has confirmed that MotoGP 24 will support crossplay. This isn't a surprise given that MotoGP 23 also had crossplay enabled.

In MotoGP 23, crossplay was available for players on Xbox and PlayStation systems, but not Switch and PC. This will also be the case for MotoGP 24, as Milestone has confirmed the PC and Switch versions won't have crossplay.

MotoGP 24 Gameplay

MotoGP 24 is the official video game of the 2024 MotoGP season, featuring the officially-licensed bikes, teams, tracks, and riders from this year's real-life season.

This will also be the only place to play the fully-licenced Moto2 and Moto3 roster in a video game too. There will also likely be historical tracks available in addition to the circuits on the 2024 calendar.

MotoGP 24 trailer and release date

MotoGP 24 was officially revealed with its first trailer, the announcement trailer. There's a big emphasis on the progression system within the game's career mode.

You'll need to go from an inexperienced rookie to taking on the double-world champion Francesco Bagnaia and becoming the world's best motorcycle racer. You can check out the trailer below:

MotoGP 24 launches on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on 2 May.
