MotoGP 24 is heading to PS5 soon! PlayStation 5 gamers will be eager to find out when they'll be able to play alongside the real-life 2024 MotoGP season.
Milestone has announced MotoGP 24, and this year's game is bringing several fan-requested new features.

Milestone has announced MotoGP 24, with year's entry introducing several notable new features requested by the community.
A new Riders Market will allow riders to move to other teams, adding a new layer of unpredictability. MotoGP 24 also brings Stewards for the first time, who will monitor the race and issue penalties, plus enhanced physics, adaptive AI difficulty, and a LiveGP Championships multiplayer championship mode.
MotoGP 24 is racing onto PC and consoles on 2 May. You can watch the announcement trailer below.
MotoGP 24 PS5
The PlayStation 5 is an incredible home video gaming system and one where it's going to be a lot of fun to play MotoGP 24.
The PS5's unique DualSense controller, for example, is the most advanced gaming controller pad around. The revolutionary haptic feedback available on the PS5 controller allows gamers to have greater control and feel of their bike.
You can sense the difference between the tarmac and the gravel in more detail than ever before.
The MotoGP 24 game will inlcude the full 2024 calendar, as well as all of the teams, bikes and riders from MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and more!
If your monitor or TV is up to the task, MotoGP 24 will look stunning at 4K resolution and a 60fps frame rate.
Riders Market
One of MotoGP24's main headline features is the new Riders Market. Like in the real-life championship, riders can transfer to other teams, so you'll need to fight to keep your current seat or find a new one.
In the real championship, Marc Marquez left Honda for Gresini Ducati in the 2024 season, and MotoGP 24 will simulate these shock transfers. This means every season can start with a different rider roster, a welcome addition that will make every season unpredictable.
Stewards
Official Stewards also make their series debut in MotoGP 24. A long-requested feature, Stewards will monitor the race and timed sessions, penalising you and AI riders for breaking the track rules.
These will range from simple Warnings, Long Lap and Time Penalties, to Let Pass orders for unfair overtakes. Milestone says the Riders Market and Stewards will provide “the most dynamic career mode developed in a MotoGP game."
"Substantial improvements" for physics and AI
On the track, players will notice "substantial improvements" to the physics and AI. A new electronic tuning system will improve the power delivery on corner entries and exits to better “control rear wheel slip and the bike's tendency to wheelie,” while the tyre compounds will feel more distinct.
A new adaptive difficulty system will also adjust the difficulty of opponents based on the player’s performance, making MotoGP 24 more accessible for everyone.
LiveGP Championships
MotoGP 24 will introduce a new LiveGP Championships multiplayer mode. Players will race in seasons featuring a certain number of LiveGPs, with players climbing the championship leaderboard by scoring points at each LiveGP.
Crossplay support is also confirmed for PlayStation and Xbox, so PlayStation players can race online with Xbox players. However, the PC and Nintendo Switch versions won’t support crossplay.
Will MotoGP 24 be on PS4?
With the PS4 already turning ten years old, many game series are moving away from old-generation hardware. MotoGP 23 was released on PS4, though, so will MotoGP 24 continue this trend?
Unlike Milestone's other recent titles like RIDE 5 and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged, MotoGP 24 will be released on PS4 as well as PS5. This isn't too surprising as other Triple-A racing titles like F1 24 are also coming to the last-gen consoles. It does, however, mean that we shouldn't expect MotoGP 24's graphics to be a significant leap forward.
Where can I buy MotoGP 24?
As for where you can buy this year's MotoGP game, MotoGP 24 can be preordered on the PlayStation Store for £59.99. Physical editions will also be available from UK retailers such as Amazon, GAME, and Smyths Toys.

MotoGP 24 editions & prices
MotoGP doesn't usually do special editions, instead sticking to a standard edition for all players. We haven't seen a special edition of MotoGP since MotoGP 20, and this isn't changing for MotoGP 24.
The standard edition can be pre-ordered on the PlayStation Store for £59.99. This is the only edition available as there won't be a deluxe edition.
