MotoGP 24 will be released on PC later in 2024! PC racing gamers will be wondering what the system requirements are for MotoGP 24, so will your setup be up to the challenge?

MotoGP 24 hasn't been officially announced yet, but there's already a lot that is all but confirmed about Milestone's 2024 MotoGP project.

So, we're bringing you everything you need to know about MotoGP 24 on PC. This includes the minimum and recommended PC specs, as well as where you should be able to buy MotoGP 24 and for how much.

MotoGP 24 PC

Unlike standardised consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, no two gaming PCs are the same.

This means you have virtually unlimited options when it comes to building your PC, but it also means you need to make sure your rig is up to the task of running your favourite games before downloading them.

Because of the rapid nature of development for yearly franchises such as Milestone's MotoGP series, the yardstick is constantly moving. Just like the MotoGP bikes, gaming PCs are constantly being optimised.

So, we're bringing you everything that PC gamers can expect from MotoGP 24 when it launches later this year!

Minimum specs

We'll start with the minimum specs for the game, as without a setup that has these capabilities, you won't be able to play MotoGP 24 at all. We don't have the recommended minimum specs for MotoGP 24 yet, but we do have them for MotoGP 23.

This means we can expect MotoGP 24's minimum PC system requirements to match or be slightly above these values:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS *: Windows 8 x64
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4590 (4 * 3300) or equivalent | AMD FX-4350 (4 * 4200) equivalent
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 1050 (2048 MB) | Radeon RX 460 (4096 MB)
  • Storage: 22 GB available space

Please note that starting this year, only Windows 10 and above is supported, so Windows 8 PCs won't be able to run MotoGP 24, or 23 for that matter.

The minimum specs listed are the bare minimum for running MotoGP 24 on PC. To run the game in higher graphics and frame rate settings, you'll need to bump rookie numbers up.

These are the recommended specs for MotoGP 23, so we anticipate that MotoGP 24 will have the same or slightly higher requirements:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 x64
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-10100 (4 * 3600) or equivalent | AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (4 * 3500) or equivalent
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (6144 MB) | Radeon RX 5700 (8192 MB)
  • Storage: 22 GB available space

The biggest factor behind the minimum and recommended specs being significantly different is whether MotoGP 24 will be available on old-gen consoles.

MotoGP 23 was released on both PS4 and Xbox One, but with both Ride 5 and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged being next-gen exclusives, it's possible that MotoGP 24 will be the first in the series to leave the last-gen systems behind.

That means the minimum and recommended specs for PC will likely be significantly higher than MotoGP 23, as MotoGP 24 will push the boundaries of what the PS5, Series X | S and, by extension, the PC can do.

Where can I buy MotoGP 24?

Retailers for MotoGP 24 haven't been confirmed yet, but like the specs, we can make some educated guesses for what these will be. MotoGP 23 was available to pre-order for PC exclusively on Steam in the UK.

Retailers vary depending on the country/territory you're in, but you can check where the game is currently available here.

Other major gaming retailers in the UK such as Amazon and GAME could stock PC codes for MotoGP 24 on Steam, but that's not likely.

MotoGP 24 editions & prices

MotoGP doesn't usually do special editions, with one base version of the game available to all. We haven't seen a special edition of MotoGP since MotoGP 20, and we don't expect that to change for MotoGP 24.

MotoGP 23 was a cheap game by the standards of triple-A releases, which are usually up to £70 these days! MotoGP 23 was launched with a price of £39.99 on Steam and we expect 24 to be a similar price.

Even if this price is raised slightly to £44.99, it will be one of the cheapest new racing games around!

Release date and trailer

We expect pre-orders for MotoGP 24 to start when the game's reveal trailer is uploaded. When will this be? Well, MotoGP 23's announcement trailer went live on 31 March 2023.

The trailer also confirmed the game's release date, which was 8 June. This marked a change in the usual release date of late April, but this was arguably a good thing for the series.

We see little reason for MotoGP 24 to be much different, so expect an announcement sometime around the 2024 Portuguese MotoGP:
