After years of delays and months of silence, we finally got a release date for Need for Speed Unbound earlier this year.
NFS is one of the oldest racing franchises around and we've missed it over the past three years. This year will end that wait though, as Criterion Games is preparing to unleash a Unbound.

Need for Speed Unbound release date
After months of speculation, EA has finally confirmed the Need for Speed Unbound release date.
As the leaks suggested, Need for Speed Unbound will release on 2 December for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, as confirmed in the official trailer.
It will be a current-gen only release skipping PS4 and Xbox One. So if you haven't got your hands on the latest hardware yet, now is the time to make the upgrade!
Early access
Players who pre-order the Palace Edition will also get three days early access on 29 November.

Following the trailer and reveal, we now know a number of the game's selling points.
Need for Speed Unbound will be in full 4K and at 60 fps for PS5, Series X and high-end gaming PCs. The PS5 will also allow for haptic feedback on the DualSense, as well as 3D sound on the Pulse 3D headset.
Location revealed
Criterion has shown off a stunning new location for Need for Speed.
This new fictional city is called Lakeshore and is based on an iconic and gritty American city.
