Assetto Corsa Competizione console update 1.8 coming by September

In a community update, Kunos Simulazioni confirmed that Untold (the Italian developer behind the next-gen console port) is aiming to roll out update 1.8 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S “by the end of summer” in September. This extended timeframe will allow w the team to “have everything working exactly as intended.”

After that, the Challengers Pack DLC will be released between November and the end of this year. As for why the update is taking so long, Kunos Simulazioni explained that replicating the PC version’s physics updates requires unique coding for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and isn’t just a simple copy and paste job.
