Grab your pace notes and buckle up, the WRC Generations release date is here!
Originally set for an October release, Kylotonn's final WRC game arrived slightly later than expected this month.
Latest news - WRC Generations delayed to November
Kylotonn announced that WRC Generations has suffered a delay. Originally set for an early October release, WRC Generations was released on 3 November.
WRC Generations is available now worldwide on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S & One, and Windows PC via the Steam Store.
A release date for the Switch version has not been confirmed, however.
Gameplay videos showcase Japan and Sweden stages
As the release gets closer, Kylotonn has released two gameplay videos showcasing the Japan and Sweden stages. Behind the wheel are professional rally drivers Oliver Solberg and Takamoto Katsuta who show us how it's done!
The two rally drivers also get to grips with WRC Generations' revamped driving physics and hybrid Rally1 cars.
Hybrid Cars trailer lands
A new trailer for WRC Generations has landed showing off the new Rally1 hybrid cars in-game for the first time. The new Hybrid Cars trailer also shows how you'll need to manage the hybrid mapping and battery to get the most out of the new Rally1 cars.
WRC Generations release date
WRC Generations was originally meant to come out on 13 October. However, the game has been pushed back a few weeks for some extra polishing time.
The new WRC Generations release date is 3 November 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You can also get two days early access by pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition.

What about Switch?
The WRC series is a regular Switch port, but usually not until a few months after release.
WRC 10, the latest instalment, only hit the handheld Nintendo platform at the end of March. That was more than six months after the initial release.
As a result, Switch players shouldn't expect WRC Generations to be available until at least April 2023.
Early access
If you want to get behind the wheel earlier, you can get two days early access to WRC Generations on 1 November by pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition.
