Assetto Corsa Evo is not far from launch, with fans starting to ask which tracks they will be able to drive around. With classic tracks expected to return from the original Assetto Corsa, to circuits making their debut, the full track list is expected to be stacked.
Here's every confirmed circuit coming in Assetto Corsa Evo.
Latest news: First tracks revealed by Steam store page
Fans have been given their first look at Assetto Corsa Evo via the game's Steam store page. Launching last week, the store page contains a series of screenshots teasing the first confirmed cars and tracks coming to the track racer.
These screenshots reveal the first three tracks are Brands Hatch, Imola, and the Nurburgring. Seeing the Nordschleife in the game from launch will be particularly exciting for fans considering it was absent in both Assetto Corsa Competizione and Forza Motorsport when they both released.
We're expecting more tracks to be revealed in time, especially when more screenshots are added to the store page on Steam.
Every confirmed track in Assetto Corsa Evo so far
With the first three tracks revealed thanks to screenshots posted on the game's Steam page, here is the confirmed Assetto Corsa Evo track list so far:
- Brands Hatch
- Imola
- Nurburgring
We'll update this list as more tracks are revealed.
Assetto Corsa Evo tracks: the likely candidates
As the sequel to Assetto Corsa, we're expecting many of the tracks from the original to make their way over to Assetto Corsa Evo. Both the original AC and the Assetto Corsa Competizione spin-off had a similar number of circuits to choose from (between 15-25).
Some circuits appeared in both games, albeit some after DLC expansions to Assetto Corsa. This could also be the case for Assetto Corsa Evo, with some tracks being absent at launch to be added in post-release updates.
Monza, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Zandvoort, Spa, Silverstone, and Laguna Seca have all been featured in both Assetto Corsa games. This doesn't guarantee that they'll return for Assetto Corsa Evo, but it's certainly possible given their popularity.
Tracks we'd love to see
Out of the circuits that have only appeared in one Assetto Corsa game, there's quite a few we'd love to see back. Assetto Corsa Competizione included Zolder, the Hungaroring, Kyalami, Suzuka, and Misano.
We'd love to see these circuits return for Assetto Corsa Evo, along with many others to create an extensive track list at launch.
Outside of returning tracks, there is also a series of circuits that both we and fans would love to see included in ACE. Here are a few of the tracks we'd love to see in Assetto Corsa Evo:
- Circuit de la Sarthe (Le Mans)
- Mugello
- Circuit de Monte Carlo
- Road America
- Watkins Glen
- Fuji
- Autódromo José Carlos Pace (Interlagos)
- Algarve International Circuit (Portimao)
- Bahrain International Circuit
Will we see an expansion?
With every new Assetto Corsa game released, fans want to see more content included. More cars, more tracks, and better graphics and simulation models are what we as racing gamers expect from series. That's not always been the case, however, especially when crossing generations.
In the Gran Turismo series, Gran Turismo 6 on the PS3 had 100 circuits, while GT Sport on PS4 only had 84. Even after all the expansions, GT Sport still doesn't offer as many tracks as its predecessor boasts.
Hopefully, Assetto Corsa Evo will be different from Gran Turismo. Licensing circuits isn't cheap, so ultimately it's down to how many Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games can afford.
If the budget is there, though, then fans will expect to see the Assetto Corsa Evo track list increase from both Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione.
