F1 2021 has been a spectacular game, but with the constant changes made to the real world Formula 1 calendar Codemasters has had a tough job keeping up.
When F1 2021 arrived, Codemasters promised a trio of the newest tracks on the calendar would be added post-release. One of those was the beloved and challenging Imola.
So, when can fans expect to go racing around the Italian track and former home of the San Marino Grand Prix?
Imola out now
After months of waiting and endless questions, the gates to Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, otherwise known as Imola, are finally open.
Landing today in a new update for F1 2021, the famous old circuit will pose a mighty challenge to new and old racers alike.
The release of Imola follows the arrival of Portimao last month, and is the second of three planned circuit updates for F1 2021.
The third will be the brand new Jeddah Street Circuit in Saudi Arabia. That update is planned for November.
Talk on the Codemasters forum has been around an Update 1.11 that will be backend-focused and Update 1.12 which will be multiplayer fixes and potentially Imola. Either way, Codemasters has promised the track will arrive this month!
Special Red Bull livery
Arriving with Imola is the special white Red Bull Racing livery that was recently run at the Turkish Grand Prix.
Originally planned as a Honda tribute for the Japanese Grand Prix, this livery will be available in-game until 15 November. Giving fans a month to experience it pounding round the track.
There are also further updates to existing liveries and sponsors, as well as in-game enhancements.
As we said, Portimao is already out, having arrived as part of Update 1.10. That means players are just waiting for information on Jeddah.
