F1 2021 Tracks: Imola arrives in Update 1.12, Jeddah on the way

F1 2021 has been with us for over a month now and it has been a huge success, but fans have been waiting impatiently for the promised new tracks.

Well now Codemasters has given a roadmap for their addition.

Latest news - Imola arrives

The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix aka the San Marino Grand Prix aka Imola is finally here.

The new circuit has arrived as part of Update 1.12 along with plenty of other fixes to the game.

Jeddah given release window

What about the other promised new track? Well, Jeddah will hit the game in November.

Codemasters hasn't given specific dates, but with both Portimao and Imola landing in the middle of the month, we think Jeddah will arrive around Monday, 15 November.

No Turkey or Qatar

While the Turkish Grand Prix will be back on the calendar once again, there are no plans to add Istanbul Park to the F1 2021 game.

Given the tracks late addition to the calendar and the amount of time it takes to build the track, surrounding visuals, and then train up the AI it's not a surprise that Codemasters won't be taking on another circuit for this year.

The same will go for Qatar, which was only just confirmed for this season. However, Qatar also agreed a longer-term deal with Formula 1, which could see the Losail track or a new circuit land in F1 2022!

Short tracks

There are no short tracks in F1 2021. They have gone the same way as the classic F1 cars, but we hope they will return in later editions. That means Bahrain, Great Britain, USA, and Japan short are all off the table this year.
