Few countries are as F1-mad as Brazil, with Interlagos a beloved venue for racing. To conquer Sao Paulo however, you will need this F1 23 Brazil setup.
Update: If you're looking for F1 24 setups, you can find the best F1 24 Brazil setup here.
F1 23 Brazil setup
Interlagos is a fan favourite in F1 23 and for good reason. This flowing, undulating, ribbon of tarmac is a joy to drive, providing some of the best Formula 1 racing of any circuit.
With F1 23's multiple patches since release changing the car dynamics, you might find yourself struggling with older settings. Therefore you need this updated F1 23 Brazil setup.
Aerodynamics
We've gone with 28-25 for the aerodynamics here.
This will allow good stability through the Senna esses and winding middle sector but also let you battle down the straight and pull off some overtakes.
Transmission
We have gone with a 54% on-throttle and 52% off-throttle for the differential.
This provides a very stable acceleration base while giving you plenty of rotation in the corners.
Suspension geometry
We suggest the front camber is set to -2.50 with the rear camber at -1.10. This will provide a stable base when turning into the slower corners.
The front toe should be set to 0.00 and the rear toe to 0.10. This will keep your speed around the iconic final corners whilst not going too hard on the tyres.
Suspension
We've gone for 26-8 on the suspension and 6-8 for the anti-roll bars. This provides a very good platform for hustling the car through the corners and getting the power down quickly.
The ride height is set to 35-38. This is as low as you can get away with on this track and will let you cut where you necessary to maximise the track width.
Brakes
We are going with 100% brake pressure and 53% brake bias for this Brazil setup.
This will get you stopped into the corners, but without a huge braking zone at Interlagos, you can live with the bias more towards the rear.
Tyres
We've gone with 22.9 PSI on the front tyres and 20.3 PSI for the rears.
This will keep them in the ideal temperature window for Interlagos without losing too much grip through your stint.
Adjustments
These setups are intended for intermediate players who may still be using assists like traction control and ABS. However, if you are looking for an extra edge then you can try a few of these adjustments:
- Decrease the wing levels by 1-3 clicks to improve top speed
- This will make the car less capable on turn-in and less stable in high-speed direction changes
- If the car doesn't feel like it is doing what you want on turn-in then raise the front wing a click or two
- If the car is too loose at low speeds try moving the off-throttle differential up a point or two for more stability
- For a more "pointy" car stiffen the front suspension & anti-roll bar in relation to the rear
- This will make getting traction trickier
- Don't be afraid to move brake bias during the lap. More frontward will give better performance in heavy braking zones, and a rearward for lighter braking zones
- Lockups are easier to achieve in F1 23 than previous games. Front locking is less catastrophic than rear locking, and which way you go from our mark will increase your chances of a lockup in that direction
- Add a click of tyre pressure for short online races to improve tyre warm-up!
