The short Virtual GP run of 2021 has been wildly entertaining so far, and we still have one more race to look forward to.
Last weekend saw the return of Williams' George Russell, who claimed a hard-fought victory at Silverstone over Alex Albon and up-and-coming British racer Callum Ilott.
As fans wait for the F1 2021 season to get underway, we have one more virtual race at the awesome Interlagos to enjoy.
The story so far
The Virtual GPs this year have been full of drama, overtakes, spins, and corner-cutting penalties.
It's been an amazing showcase for younger drivers, with Enzo Fittipaldi claiming the first race from Arthur Leclerc while Callum Ilott grabbed a podium in the second race.
Other F2 & F3 drivers like Christian Lundgaard, Oscar Piastri, and Robert Schwartzman have also starred alongside the usual faces of Alex Albon, Nicholas Latifi, and streamers like Jimmy Broadbent and Ben Daly.
Interlagos awaits
The Brazilian track is a fan favourite, especially in the F1 games. It allows for close wheel-to-wheel combat and a good mix of strategies.
This weekend should be another close one, as Alex Albon won here in the 2020 Virtual GP but George Russell's pace remains outstanding.
Who will be driving?
The first wave of drivers for the Virtual Brazilian GP have been announced.
As expected it is headlined by George Russell and Alex Albon, who will be renewing their rivalry.
Pietro and Enzo Fittipaldi also return for Haas, as do Thibaut Courtois and Jack McDermott (aka The Pie Face) for Alfa Romeo.
