LEGO 2K Drive review

After a surprise announcement in March, LEGO 2K Drive has landed. 2K Games’ new kart racer is bursting with charm, with an explorable open world, humorous story and surprisingly deep car builder that will keep creators occupied for hours.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown won't have buyable houses at launch

As we wait to see some actual gameplay, the third monthly Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown newsletter update dropped. The latest update confirmed a popular feature will be missing at launch: buyable houses.

Instead, players will stay at the Solar Hotel, which acts as the central hub for displaying cars, buying clothes, and changing their character’s appearance. This is disappointing, but KT Racing is considering adding this popular feature in an update after launch, so there’s still hope.

Forza Motorsport release month leaks

Since Forza Motorsport was shown off at Microsoft’s Developer Direct show in January, Turn 10 has kept quiet about the anticipated Xbox racer. Forza Motorsport is on track for release in the second half of the year, but an Xbox insider has revealed the release month.

According to MrMattyPlays, Forza Motorsport will release sometime in October. This is still a rumour, but if the leaker is correct, we’ll be playing Forza Motorsport around five months from now.

In other racing game news…

EA was supposed to reveal the second F1 23 deep dive focusing on Braking Point 2 and F1 World today. However, the next deep dive was postponed after the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was cancelled due to flooding in Italy.

Off-road racer Overpass 2 was also announced and Trackmania landed on consoles two years after the initial PC release.

Ian Bell's GTR Revival also just got a lot more interesting, with Straight4 Studios joining forces with Automobilista’s Reiza Studios.
