Assetto Corsa Competizione GT2 Pack DLC Gets Console Release Date

Almost a month after its release, Kunos Simulazioni has confirmed that the Assetto Corsa Competizione GT2 Pack DLC will get a console release. Not only that, the release date for the console version has also been announced.

Asseto Corsa Competizione’s GT2 Pack brings six new cars and a new track to the game. As the name suggests, each new car is from the GT2 class, with big names such as Audi, Mercedes, and Porsche all included.

Now players can get stuck into GT2 racing, complementing the existing offerings in ACC nicely.

As well as the cars, the GT2 Pack also sees the Red Bull Ring come to Assetto Corsa Competizione. Set high in the Styrian mountains, the Red Bull Ring is one of the elite racing circuits, mixing long straights with challenging corners to create the perfect lap.

The GT2 Pack came to PC on 24 January, but at the time of its launch, we hadn’t heard anything about a console version. That’s now changed, however, with a console release date being announced for the GT2 Pack.

ACC GT2 Pack gets console release date

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) the GT2 Pack for Assetto Corsa Competizione has been confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Not only that but the release date has also been revealed.

Console players will be able to get stuck into the GT2 Pack from 27 February, meaning we are now one week away from launch at the time of writing. Everyone set their calendars, the race is about to begin!

With the six new cars, plus the arrival of the Red Bull Ring, Assetto Corsa Competizione on console is about to get a whole lot better. That’s not forgetting the launch of the Nordschleife also coming in the spring followed by the expected launch of Assetto Corsa 2 in the summer.
