Hands-on with F1 Life and supercars
F1 Life is one of F1 22's biggest talking points and is going to divide opinions. For the first time, we've tried out Codemasters' new lifestyle simulator to find out if it's a worthy addition to F1 22.

With F1 22 fast approaching in July, Codemasters and EA have lifted the lid on this year's F1 game with a revealing new features trailer.
We finally get a look at the much-touted F1 Life social hub, formation laps, sprint races and much more.
F1 22 hands-on preview reveals new details

F1 22 Miami first look
After EA gave us a first look at the new Miami circuit in the first F1 22 gameplay trailer, we’ve had a chance to sample the new circuit for ourselves.

F1 22 release date announced
Codemasters has confirmed F1 22 will release on 1 July 2022. Players can also preorder the Champions Edition. As for platforms, F1 22 will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Early access
The Codemasters F1 games have offered early access through a high-level edition of the game for the last few years. F1 22 is no exception.
Preordering the Champions Edition provides three days early access to F1 22. This will enable players to access F1 22 as early as 28 June. The Champions Edition also includes a timed-exclusive Miami-inspired content pack.
Announcement trailer
Accompanying the announcement is the first F1 22 trailer, giving us a first glimpse of Codemasters' new F1 title.
Whilst we haven't seen any gameplay yet, the atmosphere of the trailer still has us excited to see what is in store for us.
Editions
The game will launch with two editions, the Standard and Champions.
On Steam, these are showing as £49.99 and £69.99 respectively, with the Champion edition coming with:

- 18,000 PitCoin.
On PlayStation the standard editions are £59.99 for PS4, £69.99 for PS5, while the Champions Edition costs £79.99.
