As we draw ever closer to the release of F1 24, Codemasters has revealed the cover art for the Standard and Champions Editions of the game.

There are no surprises for guessing who takes centre stage on the Champions Edition, but there’s still a shock on F1 24's Standard Edition cover.

Verstappen front and centre

As you’d expect, the man of the hour takes the spotlight on the Champions Edition. Three-time World Champion Max Verstappen once again has the F1 world at his feet and is rightfully the solo cover star for the F1 24 Champions Edtion.

Verstappen is seen celebrating yet another race win at the 2023 Spanish Grand Prix, with the EA Sports ambassador showered in confetti while the crowd roars in the background.

Players who preorder the F1 24 Champions Edition can take advantage of the multitude of perks included. A VIP Podium Pass, 18k PitCoins, and F1 World Bumper Pack are available, along with one month of free F1 TV Pro for USA residents.

All players who preorder can also gain three days early access to the game, with special events taking place during these three days for early paddock players to get stuck into.

The Champions Edition is looking promising, but there’s also a big reveal for the Standard Edition.

Golden trio

F1 24’s Standard Edition features Lando Norris, Lewis Hamilton, and Charles Leclerc all shown side-by-side. The golden trio are placed above the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, with their respective cars speeding past.

Notably, this is the first F1 title since F1 2018 that shows drivers with their cars, with the sight of cars sure to excite fans in the buildup to the game’s release. Add to that the use of Vegas and the hype grows even more.

We can’t help but feel for Hamilton once again being relegated to the Standard Edition of the game, with the seven-time World Champion looking unlikely to add to his collection of championship wins this year.

F1 24 is charging onto PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 31 May. Players preordering the Champions Edition of the game can hit the track from 28 May.

With a dynamic handling model, overhauled Career Mode, and a multitude of other exciting new features, F1 24 is shaping up to take the F1 world by storm once again.
