F1 Manager 2024 has been officially announced for PlayStation 5.
The third entry in Frontier's F1 Manager series, F1 Manager 2024, lets you manage a real-life team as its Team Principal. Since its initial 2022 game, F1 Manager has been released on the PS5 every year.

F1 Manager 2024 PS5
Management video games are most closely associated with the PC market, and the same is true for F1 Manager. Indeed, sports management games such as Football Manager were PC exclusives for a long time.
Times are changing, however. Home consoles are more powerful than ever and developers are realising that management games are very popular on these systems too.
So, it's not surprising that F1 Manager has been released on both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S since its inception in 2022. It's even less surprising that this will continue for F1 Manager 2024.
For those wondering about PS4 as well, you won't need to upgrade to next-gen to play, as F1 Manager 2024 will be released on PlayStation 4 too.
Although this has yet to be confirmed, if you purchase a digital copy of F1 Manager 2024 via the PS Store, you'll likely get access to both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game in the same bundle for no additional cost.
PS5 Gameplay
The PlayStation 5 is Sony's next-gen console and one of the most powerful on the market. There isn't much it can't handle and F1 Manager 2024 is unlikely to change that.
If your TV or monitor allows it, F1 Manager 2024 will be playable in up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second refresh rate. This will allow for silky smooth gameplay no matter which view you're utilising.
As for the content, the full 2024 Formula 1 calendar will be included, with fully licenced teams, drivers and circuits fleshing out the overall scope of the game.
Let's not forget how big the driver pool in this game is, too, as both Formula 2 and Formula 3, as well as reserve F1 drivers and former Formula 1 stars too.
In the trailer, the F2 and F3 logos are both shown, meaning they're returning in 2024.

Expected release date
Frontier has confirmed a summer release window for F1 Manager 2024, but we don't have an official release date yet.
Last year's game was released on 31 July, so we're expecting F1 Manager 2024 to arrive around the same time this year, if not a few weeks sooner since EA's F1 24 is launching earlier than expected.
