First F1 Manager 2023 Post-Launch Race Moment Revealed: Allez Alpine

This week’s F1 Manager 2023 Race Moment, Allez Alpine, sees players tasked with securing points for Alpine in the Belgian Grand Prix. With the risk of traffic after pit stops plus a less-than-ideal strategy, this could be a tough one.

It’s been rotten luck for Alpine recently. A double DNF saw them part ways with Team Principal Otmar Szafnauer, with the team badly needing to score points. So it’s perfect that they’ve been chosen as this week’s F1 Manager 2023 Race Moment team.

Allez Alpine Race Moment

This Race Moment challenges you to score points with both Alpine drivers. In the real Belgian Grand Prix last weekend, Esteban Ocon finished eighth, scoring four points, whereas Pierre Gasly finished just outside the points in 11th.

The Race Moment begins just before a crucial decision needs to be made on lap 25. Ocon is due for a pit stop but is sitting P6. Gasly has a chance to score points but needs to make a one-stopper strategy work. You can read the official description below:

“Aiming to go into the summer break on a high, Alpine’s drivers find themselves on the edge of the points in Belgium. At lap 25, Ocon is in 6th but needs to stop soon, while Gasly has a tough strategy call to make."

"With a chance of points ahead, should he conserve his tyres and keep to a 1-stop strategy, or commit to another stop and take on the traffic?”

Considering pit stop calls ultimately cost Alpine in the real race, this is a great opportunity to right those wrongs and score points for the French team.

If you are coming into this game expecting radical changes from F1 Manager 2022 then we have disappointing news. Most menus, race screens and decisions remain the same from last year. However, what is new is a huge upgrade.

Driver confidence plays a big part in each and every race weekend, with drivers with low confidence potentially costing you valuable points. Pit crews now need to be trained to guarantee no mistakes during those critical pit stop moments. The most popular feature of all though is the brand-new visor cam, bringing you closer to the action than ever before.
