The wait is over: F1 22 is out now. Codemasters’ latest F1 game brings several new features to the franchise, from driveable supercars to the Miami Grand Prix.

With the revised handling model reflecting the 2022 rule changes, cars in F1 22 can be tricky to drive at first as they feel heavier than last year's cars. To get the most out of them, we recommend playing F1 22 with a racing wheel.

Scroll down to Steering Animation and toggle it from on to off.

This will disable the steering animation inside the cockpit, so you won’t see the driver’s arms turn the wheel in time with your movements. Sadly, there is no option to remove the steering wheel entirely.
