Free-to-play video games are becoming more and more popular each year. Triple-A releases are more expensive than ever, with some games such as F1 23 retailing for up to £89.99 on day one.

The reasons for this are twofold, as more players are likely to buy the game if it's free and developers can make more money thanks to microtransactions and in-game purchases.

So, with that in mind, has Frontier Developments made F1 Manager 2023 free? Unfortunately not on this occasion. F1 Manager 2023 is not free, but it's cheaper than much of its competition.

On PC via the Steam Store, F1 Manager 2023 is still being sold for its release day price of £44.99 for the Standard Edition and £54.99 for the Deluxe Edition.

On PlayStation 4 & 5 and Xbox Series X | S and One, F1 Manager has the same price. It doesn't change depending on the console family or generation.

The relative lack of additional content for F1 Manager 2023 has meant that the game commands a fee to purchase.
