Forza Horizon 5 Explore the Horizon Winter: Festival Playlist, reward cars, Photo Challenge, Treasure Hunt

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for the Forza Horizon 5 Explore the Horizon Winter season. This week’s playlist brings another set of fresh challenges including a Photo Challenge and a Treasure Hunt that takes you on an epic Pathfinder trail on the hunt for the treasure chest.

There are six reward cars to win this week, one of which is new to Forza. Here’s a full rundown of the Forza Horizon 5 Explore the Horizon Winter Festival Playlist.

Forza Horizon 5 Explore the Horizon Winter

Forza Horizon 5 Explore the Horizon Winter starts on 08 June at 3:30pm BST / 10:30am ET. You then have until 15 June 3:30pm BST / 10:30am ET to complete every challenge and collect every reward.

This week’s Season Progress reward cars are the 1972 Chevrolet K10 (20 points) and 2012 Hot Wheels Rip Rod (40 points).

The Chevrolet K-10 Custom is new to Forza but you can only unlock it during the Explore the Horizon Winter playlist from 8-15 June, so don’t miss your chance to add this vintage pickup truck to your garage.

Points earned in each festival playlist count towards unlocking the two end-of Season reward cars: the Wuling Sunshine (80 points) and Audi RS 7 '21 (160 points).

Reward cars

There are four more reward cars to unlock in this week’s playlist, including two rugged off-roaders reflecting this Series’ Overlanding theme, a classic American muscle car and a Japanese sports car with rallying pedigree.

First up we have the 2020 Ford #2069 Ford Performance Bronco R. You can unlock this off-road concept racing truck by completing The Trial. Completing this week’s EventLab also wins you the 1971 Plymouth Cuda 426 Hemi.

Completing the two Seasonal Championship events unlocks the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi and the high-performance 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SUV.

Along with the reward cars, completing this week’s Speed Zone and Trail Blazer challenges will win you some Super Wheelspins for a chance to win some free cars. There’s also a Horizon Open challenge where you can a Farid Rueda's Lion Relaxed Fit t-shirt for your avatar.

Expansion rewards

There are no additional reward cars for Hot Wheels or Rally Adventure expansion owners this week. You can, however, win a Super Wheelspin in the Rally Adventure Expansion Danger Sign challenge and a Steam Boat Car Horn in the Seasonal Championship.

Hot Wheels Expansion players, meanwhile, can also get a Super Wheelspin in the Danger Sign challenge and "I Have the High Ground" Forza Link in the Seasonal Championship.

Photo Challenge: #StreetDog

This week’s #StreetDog Photo Challenge asks you to take a wildlife photograph near the camera equipment to the South East of Lago Blanco.

Unlike most Photo Challenges, you don’t need a specific car, but you will need to track down the camera equipment in this specific location.

Treasure Hunt: Seek and Enjoy

Treasure Hunt Challenges in the Explore the Horizon Series are different. For this Series, you must complete three Pathfinder trials to find in the treasure. You can find these trials in the Evolving World Accolades page.

It’s worth the effort as completing these Treasure Hunts will net you a cool 250,000 Credits to splash out on swanky cars.
