After a long hiatus, Forza Motorsport is racing onto PC and Xbox Series X in Spring 2023 to reclaim the sim racing crown from Gran Turismo. With real-time ray-tracing, overhauled physics, and dynamic time of day on every track, Turn 10 is billing Forza Motorsport as “the most technically advanced racing game ever made.”
Forza Motorsport will feature a huge roster of cars, but which tracks can you race them on? We’ve got the full Forza Motorsport track list right here.
The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase trailer and gameplay demo showcased Maple Valley, a fan-favourite track in every FM since the first game in 2005. Captured using photogrammetry and 3D material scans, every track in Forza Motorsport is stunningly detailed.
In addition, the trailer introduced Circuit Hakone, a new fictional high-speed Grand Prix circuit set in Japan. Also revealed was the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, a South African track making its Forza Motorsport debut.
Advanced rendering and procedural generation techniques increase the level of realism, resulting in photorealistic grass, rocks, 3D vegetation, skies and clouds. Combed with new lighting technology and physically-based lights, tracks in Forza Motorsport have never looked more realistic.
