Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged is the sequel to the highly successful Hot Wheels Unleashed. Milestone’s most successful game of all time was obviously going to get a sequel, with the successor building nicely on the original's foundations.
An innovative story mode, combined with a neat track-building feature, gave Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged the perfect mix of creativity and adrenaline-fuelled racing for players.
Despite the promise the game showed, however, sales were disappointing. Releasing during a busy period in October 2023 harmed potential sales, with Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged struggling in the race.
This was a real shame considering the quality of the game. It's criminally underrated, but it now has a second chance to shine.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged coming to Game Pass
Microsoft has announced latest list of upcoming titles coming to Game Pass, with Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged joining the subscription service in March. The reveal also confirms we won’t have long to wait until we can hit the orange track.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged will be charging onto Game Pass from 28 March. This is great news for fans of Hot Wheels, but it does still come at a cost.
To make way for the sequel, the original Hot Wheels Unleashed will be delisted from Game Pass on 31 March 2024. This gives players just under two weeks to enjoy the tiny toy racer before it disappears from Game Pass.
